Why? Only difference between Survival and Very Hard is health regeneration ratio which is silly because it do not affect stealth builds or vats user.

I can blow up power armored enemies, assaultrons, sentrybots, you name it, it dies in 1 seconds or probably less in realtime normal shooting, but if I use VATS? Even a VATS crit will hardly hurt people. But it's surprisingly weak if you use it with VATS. I don't actually know if it ignites people because they die too fast to tell. Because of it's direct killing power, not puff and wait for DoT to finish. Now, the plasma FLAMETHROWER? That's ****ing amazine murder incarnate. I get lit on fire and don't give a **** now. It even applies to you as your own health and armor scales up. It's like this for lasers, it's like this for plasma, it's like this for moltovs (I get a nice chunk of damage from nailing them in the face, and then fire may as well be cosmetic). In the very early game enemies will have low enough health that you will actually notice.īut later on, even with the best burning laser/burning plasma upgrades, you have to stand there and watch the enemy health bar for 10+ seconds to notice it drained a pixel from being on fire. Fire damage over time in this game is pretty horrible, honestly.
